How to delete your account

Watchd lets you permanently delete your account and all associated data directly from inside the app, per Apple's App Store guidelines:

  1. Open Watchd and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

This removes your authentication identity, profile, and every tagged film from our servers and from this device. As a fallback, email support@watchd.app from the address tied to your account and we'll process the deletion within 7 days.

Frequently asked questions

How do I sign in?

Open the app and tap Sign in. Watchd uses Google sign-in. Your watchlist and ratings sync automatically across your devices once you're signed in.

Why can't I see some movies or posters in my region?

Watchd uses TMDB for film and TV metadata. If a title or image isn't loading, try again in a few seconds — content is cached and refreshed regularly. If the issue persists, please email us with the title and your country.

How do I delete my account or data?

See the section above: Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and immediate.

Is Watchd free?

Yes — Watchd is completely free to use. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or ads.

How do I report a bug?

Email us with: your iOS version, iPhone model, app version (found in Settings), and a short description or screen recording of the issue. The more detail, the faster we can fix it.

Will Watchd come to iPad, Mac, or Apple TV?

iPhone is our main focus today. iPad and Apple TV are on the roadmap — let us know which you'd want first.
